As we step into Spring, there’s something truly magical about seeing the world come to life again. The days grow longer, the air gets warmer, and it’s so much fun to spot all the beautiful flowers peeking up through the ground, bringing vibrant, joyful color back to our surroundings.
Along with the natural blooms, it’s also exciting to see all the new Springtime crafting releases that arrive each year. One of the most delightful releases this season is the Gorgeous You Florals from Spellbinders. These gorgeous floral designs perfectly capture the spirit of Spring, offering a wonderful way to bring the season’s beauty into your crafting projects. Whether you’re making cards, scrapbook pages, or other paper crafts, these floral stamps and dies will add a fresh, floral touch to any creation!
So let’s talk about the flowers…
The Gorgeous You Florals die set is a delightful collection that offers a variety of flowers, stems, and leaves—perfect for creating everything from a dainty, delicate bouquet to a lush, bountiful arrangement. The versatility of this set lets you mix and match different elements, making it ideal for any crafting project that calls for a touch of floral elegance. I first shared this floral set of dies in my previous post, Calling All Beauty Enthusiasts.
For today’s card, I started by cutting a selection of the Gorgeous You Florals from crisp white cardstock, allowing the intricate details of the dies to really shine. Then, using Distress Oxide inks and blending brushes, I added vibrant pops of color to each piece, giving them depth and dimension. The soft, smooth ink blending helped bring the flowers to life, making them the perfect focal point for my card.
Tip: How to speed up die-cutting:
Cut everything out of white card stock. The pieces are then ready to be inked and incorporated into any project. It’s a big time saver!
Adding the sentiment…
I arranged the ink blended flowers onto a white die cut circle after stamping a sentiment along the edge. The sentiment “step into spring” can be found in February’s stamp of the month, Spring Smiles (CSOM-FEB25). Since it’s a clear stamp, it’s flexible and can easily bend to fit the curve of the circle.

Next, I created the background with the March Stitching Die of the Month, Diamond Knit, cutting it out of navy blue cardstock. By using two colors of DMC thread, (#794 & #988), I completed the background. You can see my introduction of this plaid die in my post, here.
After finishing the plaid background, I adhered it to a celery green card base measuring 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. I absolutely love how the green thread complements the green card base, creating a cohesive look that ties everything together perfectly!
Once my floral circle was glued into place on the background, I added a few green iridescent pearls around the flowers!
Adding beauty to the inside…
Every card needs an inside, even if it’s just a simple white panel for writing. However, I believe the inside should reflect some of the beauty from the front to create an integrated look. Adding one simple flower with a couple leaves, my card was complete!

Be sure and check out the entire Gorgeous You Collection and all of the March Clubs! Thanks for visiting today!
