Sometimes, all you need is a bow to dress up a gift or complete a handmade greeting card! I’m always on the lookout for bow stamps or dies because having a variety to choose from makes me a happy crafter! One never knows what size or style will be needed.
I’m excited to tell you where I found the best, most wonderful bows!
Who has the best bows?
When it comes to gorgeous bows, I think The Greetery wins the prize! They have so many bows to pick from and most of them are sold individually! You can pick from Put a Bow on It which coordinates with Put a Bow on It stamp set, Fit to Be Tied, (a set of 3 bows), Figgy Pudding Bow Topper, Ribbon Frame Die, Big Beautiful Bow Die and my new favorite Loopy Bow Builder! That’s a lot of options and there are still more! Browse through their website and see what treasures you can find!

This first card features several products from The Greetery, including the whimsical Loopy Bow Die. The foliage frame was made with layering stencils, Mistletoe Arches and then cut out with the coordinating dies. I used Distress Oxide Ink Pads (Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Kitsch Flamingo, Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries). I used a couple Pine Bough sprigs for the ornaments to “hang” from.
Using Curio: Attic Ornaments Dies and cutting all of the pieces from white card stock, I then colored them with blender brushes and the same Distress Oxide Ink Pads as above. After piecing each ornament together, I added them to the center of the card. Finally, I cut out the Loopy Bow Builder, pieced it together and added it to the top of the mistletoe arch. To glam things up and give a wintery look, I added Stickles Glitter Glue here and there, creating some icy sparkle.
Same products, different colors
Other than changing the colors, this next card was made with the same products. This time I chose Stampin’ Up ink pads, Lost Lagoon, Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia and Blackberry Bliss. I topped this one off with the Figgy Pudding Bow Topper.
Finally, I made a second card with the same Stampin’ Up colors, but used Jumbo Curiosity Teardrop Ornament Die and added the Loopy Bow Die cut from some shimmery white card stock.
As you can see, it’s fun having a variety of bows from which to choose and each one lends a different look and feel! This Christmas season, are you wrapping things up with a great big bow? Remember…presentation is everything!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing a couple different color schemes using virtually the same products. If you’d like to see another card using The Greetery products, you’ll find it here. If you love their designs like I do, you’ll want to head over to their fabulous Black Friday Sale!
Until next time,
~Krista
